He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Bouy and Hilda Bouy (Hermes); and his siblings, Geraldine Bouy, Joyce Bouy, Jeanette Quilter, Frank W. Bouy and Melvin Bouy.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Bouy; his children, John Bouy (Amy), Tom Bouy (Barb) and Beth Cutler (Todd); his grandchildren, Jessica George (Austin), Tiffany Frisch (Caleb), Tyler Bouy (Melanie), Tim Cutler, Emily Cutler, Jake Bouy and Zack Bouy; and his great grandchildren, Trenton, Coleton, Lucas George, Xander, Tanner and Keller Frisch.
