He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Robert and Lucille Kerr Sr. (Gfell); his daughter Allison Kerr; and his sister Susan Jagel. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Oliver (Joe) of Ashland and Lisa Kerr (Jim) of Frederick, MD; and his grandchildren, Colton, Audrey Oliver and Ava Cherry.
