He is survived by: his spouse Lillian Cole; his children, Darryl (Veronica) of Streetsboro, Eric (Sylvia) of Lewis Center, Derrick (Mellinda) of Avon Lake and Adele Hasan of Sandusky; his great grandchildren, DaShawn, Phron, Brittany, Najee, Alasia, Aniyah, Zennia, Carliayia, Carlieyia, Willow, Uriah, Jionna, Saniyah, Drake Jr., Troy, Bernard, Brielle and Jade; his sisters, Priscilla Dhafir, Jackie Lockhart, Sylvia Cox and Elizabeth Matthews; his sisters-in-law, Janie Hunt, Lessie Cole and Mary Devese; his friend Miller; his brother-in-law Robert Cole; and also John Matthews Jr.. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
