He was predeceased by: his mother Deerita Pennix; and his grandparents, Willie Hills, Thurman and Thelma Snipes. He is survived by: his former wife Tina Manning-Pennix; his father Charles Pennix (Diane) of Greensboro; his children, Yalonda Galloway (Dylan) of Odenton, MD, Renata Arrington of Stoneville, Ranisha Arrington of Stoneville, Dennis C. Pennix, Jr. of Stoneville, Joshua Tucker of Stoneville, N. Carolina of Sandusky, Denzel Pennix of Sandusky, Tevin Brown of Sandusky and Takhai Brown of Sandusky; his cousin Samuel Davis; his close friend Bobbie Garrett; and his goddaughter Finesse Fenderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
