He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stein and Ellen Stein; and his sisters, Paula, Lorene and Anne.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Stein of Sandusky; his children, Paul Stein (Kristen) of Matthews, NC, Rebecca Norton (Michael) of Annapolis, MD, Christine Seyler (Christopher) of Sandusky and Nathan Stein (Alison) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, David, Bridget, Max, Madalyn, Katie, Cordelia, Amory and Oliver; and his siblings, Curt, Louis, Joe and Kathy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in David's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
