He was predeceased by: his father John D. Maiani; and his brother-in-law William Lee Staugh. He is survived by: his wife Anna (Staugh); his children, Cheri (Kramer), Alicia Maiani (Matlock) and David Jr.; his nephew Rob Ballman; his mother Alice Maiani (Cook); his siblings, Rose Ott (Keith), Linda Keith (Mike) and John Maiani (Linda); his parents-in-law, Betty Staugh and John Staugh (Lisa); and his grandsons, Ethan and Owen Matlock. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
