He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jones and Alice Jones; his siblings, Roosevelt Cole, Jr., Jimmie Jones, Nancy Jones, Mary J. Wright, Edna Jones and Ruth Staten; his nieces, Pamela Jones, Michelle Baines and Jimeka Jones; his nephew Darius Reynolds; and his cousins, Jimmy Pickens and Bill Pickens.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Jasonna and Louwann Light; his grandson De'Yon Swain (Mariah); his great grandchildren, Ja'Tyse Light, Jamarvian Reed, Makiyah, De'Miyah and De'Yon Jr.; his stepchildren, Justin, Breah, Jon, Say, J'Siah and James Hayes; his siblings, Jessie Gordon, Johnnie Stovall, Nettie Ellis (Ron), Demetriss Jones, Shirley Jones, Dorothy Jackson (Butch), Lemon Jones (Carolyn), William Jones (Becky), Anthony Jones, Sr. and Ray Grant; his brother-in-law Robert Staten (Vickie); his nephews, Vincent, Da'Shay, Cass, James Gordon, Jr., Simeron, Lenny and Thomas, Jr.; his cousin Melvin Pickens; and his close friends, Lewis Page and Estel Amison.
