He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Doherty and Lucy O'Doherty; his wife Ilah O'Doherty (Lang); his siblings, Lucy Ann Fayle and Duane O'Doherty; and his stepchildren, Ilah Ann Christofel and Jack Bright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
