He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Joseph and Rosella Regina Sturbaum (Leidorf); his brother Roger Sturbaum; his niece Karen Kowalski; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Bleile, Bill Dickman and Ed Schoewe.
He is survived by: his wife Helen R. Sturbaum (Klingshirn); his daughters, Marcia Johnston (Doug), Patty Rust (Doug) and Jacqueline Sturbaum (John Kolesar); his grandchildren, Toni Rust, Alexis Sturbaum, Sydney Alexander, Bailey Rust, Madison Rust, Cody Johnston, Conner Rust, Abby Johnston and Ernest Kolesar; his great grandchild Calloway Gordon; his siblings, Mary Dickman, Margie Bleile and Earl "Mike" Sturbaum (Reni); and his siblings-in-law, Rosalinda Sturbaum, Mary Medina (Klingshirn), Anne Schoewe (Klingshirn), Mike, Otto, John Klingshirn and Andy Medina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
