It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Craig Richard Ahlers of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Carrie Caudill; his stepson Michael Cobern; his grandparents, Edmund, Arlene Ahlers, Stan and Mable Plottnes; and his niece Tiyana Faith Ahlers.
He is survived by: his parents, Suzann Ahlers and Richard Wigley; his children, Courtney Cobern, Sadie Ahlers and Lucas Ahlers; his grandchildren, Makenna and SJ; his sister Caryn Wagner (Jeff); his niece Ashley Ahlers; his nephew Sheyden Ahlers; his great-nephews, Akye, Cisco and Myles; and his uncles, Steve, Tom and Scott Ahlers (Marlene).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (428 Tiffin Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Parish Hall at Holy Angels Church (428 Tiffin Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
The family suggests that contributions may be made in his name to his children.
