She was predeceased by: her husband James "Sarge" E. Brinson; and her mother Elise Kopka. She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. Hartley (Roger) of Sandusky, Joyce E. Brinson of Reynoldsburg, OH, Selinda Kabalkin of Henderson, NV, Michael J. Brinson of Sandusky, Susan M. Bartone (David) of Lake Stevens, WA and John E. Brinson (Elizabeth) of Millersport, OH; and her grandchildren, Erica J. Hartley, Christine Jackson-Oglesby (Niki), Brandi Oglesby, Zachary Kabalkin, Shane Zeccola and Raven Brinson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Christa's name to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870 or to one's favorite charity.
