He was predeceased by: his parents, John Artie and Willie Mae Matthews (Marshall); his siblings, Davis, Ezra, Leroy, Achie, Johnnie, Joseph, James, Ethel, Ruby, Earline, Lessie, Alberta and Carrie; his grandson Cebron Lamar Matthews; and his great grandchild Marnae Matthews.
He is survived by: his sons, Cebron Jr., James (Patricia) and Willie G.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and many other loving relatives and friends.
