He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Rodriquez Calderon and José Antonio Rodriguez Rosado; his wife Araminta (Ayala) of Bogotá, Colombia.; his sons, José Cruz Calderon, Leonardo Calderon and Carlos H. Calderon; his grandson Leonardo "Leo" Calderon II; and his siblings, Joaquín "Mozo" and Zoila.
He is survived by: his children, Carolina Calderon Barone and Alejandro Calderon; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Calderon (Julie), Brandon Calderon (Kristen), Maria Roth (Brian), Kellee DiPaola (Matt), Adam Calderon, Alaina Rowe (Nate), Angelo Calderon, Ciera Wentz (Alex), Leeah Holt (Nick), Tralee Calderon, Julia Calderon, Carlee Cook (Tyler), Cameron Calderon, Emileo Calderon and Coby Rowe; and his sisters, Etelvina and Emma. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
