He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilken and Minnie Wilken (Grahl); his wife Mary Ellen Wilken; his granddaughter Ashley Williams; and his siblings, Geraldine McKitrick, Pierre Wilken and James Wilken.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Lilje (Paul) of Huron, Donna Riesterer (Jim) of Sandusky, Paul Wilken (Lin) of Celina, John Wilken (Cindy) of Huron, David "Hermie" Wilken (Loretta) of Sandusky and Chris Mielke (Al) of Sandusky. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
