He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Zella Brown and Marvin Odell Edwards Sr. Calvin; his grandparents, Ellis Edwards, Nannie Edwards Stewart, Anthony and Willa Anna Brown Sr.; and his grandson Calvin DeWayne Churchwell.
He is survived by: his children, Tangela Davis (Samuel) of Sandusky, Calvin Churchwell of Sandusky and Racharde Brown of Sandusky; his siblings, Catherine Edwards Sullivan (Harry) of Cleveland, OH, Christine Edwards Moore (John L.) of Cleveland, OH, Irene Edwards, Ellis Edwards of Sandusky, Marvin Odell Edwards Jr. of Sandusky and DaMarquis C. Brown; his uncle Ellis Edwards of Omaha, NE; his aunts, Odessa Edwards of Los Angeles, CA and Helen Edwards; his brother-in-law Steven "Snake" Brown Sr.; and his close friend Cornelius Amison. He is also survived by twenty one grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, an unborn great-grandchild.
