It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buelah Mae Brown of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Harris and Maggie Harris (Sparks); her husband William L. Brown Sr.; her children, Larry Anthony Sparks, Elaine Kelly and Debra L. Brown; and her siblings, Eliza Ash, Annie Fleming, Vantee Sparks, Burton Sparks, Joe Lee Sparks and Louis Sparks.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Akalya Sparks of Columbus, OH and Shavonet Sparks of Cincinnati, OH.; her great-grandkids, Joseph and Jodi of Columbus, OH; her daughter Sandtrese Keys of Cincinnati, OH; her granddaughter Shanta Dennis; her children, Tracey Tucker Jr. (Jerome), Adrian Brown (Lynn) of Sandusky, OH and William L. Brown of Sandusky, OH; her sisters, Winona Moore of Columbus, MS, Beatrice Johnson (David) of Columbus, MS, Emma Stephenson (Jimmy) of Columbus, MS, Lilia Fenton (Robert) of Columbus, MS, Sara Sparks of Columbus, MS, Debra Moore (Johnny) of Columbus, MS, Warrenetta Love of Columbus, MS, Deska Mayfield (Tamera) of Columbus, MS, Lucinda Porter of Chicago, IL, Brenda Washington (Vernon) of Byram, MS, Angelia Mayfield of Crawford, MS, Reatha Stallings (Wade) of Indianapolis, IN and Dariel Mayfield (Patricia) of Huntsville, AL; her nieces, Vanessa Sparks of Columbus, MS, Shirley Ash of Chicago, IL, Stacy Humphries-Washington (Vincent) of Little Rock, AR and Cathlean Brown of Sandusky, OH; her nephew Ike Ash Jr. of Chicago, IL; and her close friends, Jackie Harper of Sandusky, OH, Candy Dorner (Blondie) of Sandusky, OH and Rose Churchwell of Sandusky, OH. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a whole host of nieces, nephews.
