She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Taylor and Edna Taylor; her husband William Ward; her close friend Joe Harvey; her son Billy Ward; her great grandchild Logan Ptak; her stepmother Neva Taylor; and her siblings, Virginia, Rose, Annie, Gladys, Margaret, Frances, Jim, Nub, Gene, Richard and Dave Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Ward; her grandchildren, Bonnie Caldwell, Bufford Caldwell, Brenda James, Ricky Ellick and Tiffany Drake; her great grandchildren, Toby, Jordan, Brandon (Jade), Rocky, Dominic, Devin, Daimen, Lincoln, Lynette, Demetrius, Tristan, Paityn and Zofie; and her siblings, Thelma Fox, Larry Taylor, Donnie Taylor, Danny Clark and Bobby Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, Sandusky Chapel (2001 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Oakland Cemetery (2917 Milan Rd, Sandusky, OH 44870). A wake was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel (16 Cooper St, Wakeman, OH 44889).
