With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie Louise Kane of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on March 30, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Gruver and Mary Gruver (Spitler); and her husband Louis Edward Kane. She is survived by: her children, Edward Kane (Cathy) of Knoxville, TN and Laurie Caughell (Kane) of Norfolk, VA; her sister Joanne Calderon of Mentor, OH; her grandchildren, Brent Kane of Mason, OH, Carlie Kane of Knoxville, TN, Leslie Hipps of Norfolk, VA and Justin Caughell of Norfolk, VA; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, James and Madeline.
