She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel "Harley" Shimer and Lovisa Fox Shimer; her son Jeff; her husband Harold; and her siblings, Herb, Ron, Don, Mavadelle Lieving and Madeline Prather.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg (Kathleen) of Carroll, OH and Dave (Linda) of New Albany, OH; her daughter-in-law Joey Butcher of Monroeville, OH.; her grandchildren, Brian Butcher (Whitney), Jeff Butcher, Stacey Straubel (Michael), Kaitlin Cortese (Pete), Adam Butcher, Emily Butcher, Colton Butcher, Karli Butcher, Nick Butcher and Kassidy Butcher; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Brooks and Lachlan. She is also survived by her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
