He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred C. Evans and Viola E. Evans (Hensley); and his siblings, Caephus, Kenneth Evans and Helen Hummel.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Mae Evans (Younce); his children, Pamela Eckenrode (Terry) of Sandusky and Michael Evans (Elizabeth) of Sandusky; his siblings, Harold Evans (Shelby) of Sandy Ridge, VA, Lorene Brooks of Sandy Ridge, VA and Theresa Evans of Sandy Ridge, VA; his grandchildren, Renee Grime (Greg) and Ryan Voegle (Maria); and his great grandchildren, Elianna, Kaelyn and Aubree Grime. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
