He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Lola Batts; his siblings, Ada, Clarence, Norman, Wydell, Lawrence, Bertha and Jean; his wife Karin Lucas-Rogers; and his children, Marie Rogers, Florita Rogers, Latrice Rogers, Abrianna Pinkney, Sejal L. Lucas, Dashauna Priest, Anthony "Stony" Murphy and Alvin Rogers Jr.. He was also cherished by grand-children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
