We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2024, at the age of 85, Althea M. Johnson of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Webster and Jennie Webster; and her sister Willie Gambrel. She is survived by: her husband Rubin Johnson Sr.; her children, Jon Ross Johnson, Rubin Johnson, Jr., Jackie Scott (Mike) of North Carolina, Linda Hunt of Waterville, Doris Smith (Joe) and Rachelle Perkins (Greg) of Toledo, Ohio.; her brother Stanley Webster (Debbie); and her grandchildren, Quanita, Rubin, Dawn, Tawanna, Michael, LaToya, Janese, Joseph, Shawron, Isiah and Morgan. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and God children.
A wake was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel (16 Cooper St, Wakeman, OH 44889). Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (1215 Pierce St, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
