He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Mueller and Margaret Elizabeth Merrick Mueller; his aunts, Mary Jane Merrick and Ann Butler; his sister Kathleen B. Mueller; his nephew Bruce Allan Mueller; and his father-in-law Everett R. Giles.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his sons, Rob Griggs (Cali) and Jared K. Mueller (Melissa); his grandchildren, Sasha Haas and Zachary Haas; his siblings, Sharon Park (Dennis), William Mueller, Francis Treacy Mueller (Deborah), Sean Mueller (Mandy) and Keith; his mother-in-law Pauline Giles; his siblings-in-law, Carol Hay, Allen Giles, Tim Giles (Lisa) and Rodney Giles; his friend Sherry Garner; and his caregiver Debbie Pollard.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Project Lifesaver program.
