He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Summers (Becker); his great grandchild Kelsey Matt; and his siblings, Florence Lander, Fran Malone, Mary Fritz, Chuck Summers, Ralph Summers and Jim Summers.
He is survived by: his children, Dee McGory (Blake) of Sandusky, OH, Jean Morrison (Keith) of Cincinnati, OH, Bill Summers (Jenny) of Aiken, SC and Jeff Summers (Tonya) of Spencerville, IN; his grandchildren, Dana, Dean, Jonathan, Kelly, Andrew, Jacob, Emily, Bradley and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Betty Franklin of Fremont, OH, Carrie Clouser of South Amherst, OH and John Summers of Wakeman, OH. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
