He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Slaven and Mildred Slaven (Phau); his wife Virginia Lee Slaven; and his grandchild GJ. He is survived by: his children, Pug, Glenn Slaven (Lynda) of Kentucky, Ty Slaven of Negley, Tracy McGuire of Salineville, Kemper Slaven (Kathy) of Struthers and Johna Slaven of Alliance; and his brother Ray Slaven (Jean) of Poland. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
