He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Hannay and Clara May Hannay (Housteau); his wife Jackie Pence Hannay; his aunt Joan Lora; and his favorite chocolate lab Cappie.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Habarka (Joe) of Hubbard, Christi Arnoto (Mathew) of Salem, Kelly Paxson of Salem, Patrick Hannay of Pittsburgh and Rich Paxson (Michelle) of East Palestine; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Gavin, Carson, Aiden, Brendan, Owen, Lucas and Baby Boy Paxson; his cousins, Susan Lora of West Chester and Diana Dominic Halm of Murrells Inlet, SC; and his pet Brandy.
