He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren H. Ford and Marie M. Ford (Sutherin); and his wife Sherry L Ford (Bruderly). He is survived by: his son Warren Ford II (Darcy) of Oklahoma; his stepchildren, Julie Shea (Breen) of Columbiana, Mary Theil of Columbiana, Kimberly Tohm (Dave) of Columbiana and Brian Theil of Rockville, Maryland.; his grandchildren, Ashley Bussard (Aaron), Kenny Shea (Diana), Hailey Tohm and Alyssa Tohm; his great grandchild Noah Bussard; and his siblings, Nancy Flickinger (Robert) of Salem and George Ford (Lisa) of Cocoa Beach, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that any donations in Ernie's honor be made to the Hospice of the Valley.
