Patton and Mary Madeline Patton (Davin); his sisters, Patti Cooper (Chuck), Denise Patton, Madeline Shivers (Joe) and Joyce Patton; his nieces and nephews, Chad Cooper (Lida), Thomas Cooper (Charlynn Driscoll), Lauren Cooper, Joseph Shivers (Sarah Meister), Brian Shivers and Nik Itomlenskis; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maggie Driscoll, Dare, Eve, Cain, Bay Cooper and Owen Shivers.
