He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe A. Barnes and Harriet Barnes (Blackburn); and his siblings, Betty Bentley and Fred Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Shirley R. Barnes (Miller); his daughters, Janet Elliott of Bellaire, MI, Nancy Barnes of Youngstown, Dianne Jackson of East Palestine, Susan Cooper of Hanoverton and Carol Matijevich of Burgettstown, PA.; and his brother Roger Barnes of Kendallville, IN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 1785 S Lincoln Ave, Salem, OH 44460. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
