She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Cubbage and Sally Cubbage (Davies); her daughters, Jennifer Schaefer (Ed) and Jayne DeCort (Jason Datko); her grandchildren, Evan Schaefer (Sarah), Luke Schaefer (Katelyn Levis) and Meagan DeCort; her great grandchildren, Grace and Anna Schaefer; her siblings-in-law, Mary Jean Cubbage and Randy Bentley; her pets, Willow and Nellie; her husband John Charles DeCort; her siblings, Carol Bentley and Bill Cubbage; and her pets, Puddin and Porkchop. She was also cherished by loving family members, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenford Lutheran Church (7450 S Range Rd, Salem, OH 44422). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenford Lutheran Church to contribute towards the card ministry she loved so much.
