She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bias and Frances Bias; her spouse Glenn Forrest Thorne; and her sister Carol Davis (Deward). She is survived by: her sisters, Lucille Gribbon (George) of Mt. Vernon, OH, Marilynn Olson (Ray) of Georgia and Gayle Knapp (Ray) of Champion, OH.; her children, Cindy Wine (Daniel) of White Lake, MI, Pamela Wagner of North Canton and William Thorne (Debbie) of Ocala, FL.; her grandchildren, Amber Hamilton (Luke), Ashlee, Amanda, Alexis Thorne, Danae Means, Darin (Vanessa), Derek (Lindsay), Dustin Wine (Corrie), Tara Nichols (Steve), Glenn Travis (Bradley) and Troy Wagner; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Jayne Hamilton, Caleb, Callie, Carlie Means, Logan, Dane Wine, Davis Wine and Todd Forrest Nichols. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
In light of the current pandemic situation, a private service is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Shirley Thorne Fund at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University at 800 Martinsburg Rd., Mt. Vernon OH 43050.
