Ruth A. Varkonda Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth A. Varkonda of Salem, Ohio, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Varkonda; her parents, Wilford Stratton and Helen Stratton (Dressel); her children, Bonnie Lee, Rick Varkonda and John J. Varkonda; and her sisters, Betty Stratton Solomon and Jean Stratton Stanley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Zocolo (Mark) of Salem and Amy Holbrook (Keith) of Galena, OH; her daughter-in-law Jane Varkonda of Martha's Vineyard; and her brother Robert Stratton (Winnie) of Barnesville, OH.. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, her five great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.
