He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence V. McLaughlin and Viola G. McLaughlin (Cusick); his siblings, Ruth McLaughlin, Arnold and Larry McLaughlin; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy McLaughlin and Jim Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet McLaughlin (Allen); his children, Daniel McLaughlin (Becky) of Toledo, Veronica Mabry (Carmelo Pappalardo) of Salem and Renee Dickman (Eric) of Monroeville; his siblings, Rella Anderson, James McLaughlin (Charlotte), Leroy McLaughlin (Joyce), Leonard McLaughlin and Fred McLaughlin (Pat); and his grandchildren, Ashlee, Kevin Jr., Eli Sr., Erica, Matthew and Elizabeth. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
