He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael H. McGarry and Annabel P. McGarry (Cobey); and his aunt Kay. He is survived by: his wife Barb; his sons, Jeff McGarry of Charleston, SC and Keith; his sisters, Tricia Wartenberg (Scott) of Salem, OR and Carolyn Eltibi (Mahmoud) of Boardman; and his pet Nuggets.

The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
