He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis H. Possage and Twila M. Possage (Carlisle); and his brother Tom Possage. He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Williams of West Point, Jill St. John of Lisbon and Francis R. Possage of Lisbon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
