He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Stitle and Carrie Stitle (Boyle); his sisters, Jean Stitle Ruff and Carol Stitle Barnes; and his daughter Lynne Stitle.
He is survived by: his wife Doris E. Stitle (Schneider); his children, James Stitle (Sue) of Salem, Lou Ann Geiger (Robert) of Salem and Jerry Stitle (Tracie) of Homeworth; and his grandchildren, Alicia Germano (Pete), Kate Brenner (Adam), Eric Stitle (Jana), Ellie Geiger, Lauren Stitle and Landon Stitle. He is also survived by six great granddaughters.
