Robert R. Hickey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert R. Hickey of Salem, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo R. Hickey and Thelma Hickey; his wife Nancy Howell Hickey; his sister Lila; his daughter Lois Peters (Robert "Nick" Peters); and his grandson Keith Hickey.
He is survived by: his son Leo Hickey (Suzanne); his son-in-law Robert "Nick" Peters; his grandchildren, Nicholas Peters (Chelsea), Benjamin Peters (Taylor Stevens), Adam Hickey (Caitlin) and Noelle Pecora; his great grandchildren, Ronan Hickey, Ryler Peters, Gavin Peters, Alexa Anderson, Harper Hickey, Gianna Smieszek and Enzo Smieszek; and his stepchildren, Kristy Smieszek (Dan) and Anthony Elmo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you designate donations to be made to the Hickey Vocational Scholarship through the Salem High School Alumni Association, 330 East State Street, Salem, Ohio 44460.
