Michael Thomas Chmura Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 64, Michael Thomas Chmura of Salem, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J. Chmura and Loretta G. Chmura (DeDoming); his siblings, Paul Chmura and Mary Chmura; and his mother-in-law Kaye Magyaros.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Kaye Magyaros; his siblings, Jeanne Chmura of South Boston, MA and Donald Chmura (Celeste) of Hot Springs, AR; his siblings-in-law, Bob Magyaros of Chagrin Falls, Barry Magyaros (Debbie) of Connecticut, Jose Pagan, Melody Franken (Mark) of Columbiana and Anne Magyaros of Hilton Head, SC; and his father-in-law John Magyaros of Salem. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons (1617 E State St, Salem, OH 44460). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salem First Christian Church (1028 Jennings Ave, Salem, OH 44460).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
