She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred H. Shaffer (Welling) and Alfred J. Shaffer; her sons, Jeffrey Carl and Ronald Carl; and her siblings, Robert, Ed, Jack Shaffer and Shelva Jean.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Baddeley (Barry) and Roger Carl; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Carl of Salem; her foster son Chad McLaughlin of Dallas Texas; her siblings, Shirley Wickley (Tom) of Florida and Betty McCoy (Earl) of New Waterford; and her sister-in-law Marlene Shaffer of Salem. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
