She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard D. Sunderman and Mary Sunderman (Birkhimer); her husband Richard G. Helmick; and her siblings, Sara Hippely, Claude Julian Sunderman Sr., William Sunderman Sr. and Raymond Leo Sunderman Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Richard Helmick Jr. (Laura) of Salem and Susan Meyers (Howard) of Leetonia; her sisters, Virginia Hull of Lisbon and Nancy Lewis of Salem; her grandchildren, Michael Helmick (Stephanie) of Salem, Aaron Helmick (Alicia) of Columbus, Ross Helmick of Denver, CO and Julie Berkheimer (Chris) of Beloit; and her great grandchildren, Kaelyn Helmick, Collin Helmick, Reagan Helmick, Madilyn Helmick and Shelby Berkheimer.
