We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Laverne Hummel of Salem, Ohio, born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Kephart and Laura Kephart (Coulter). She is survived by: her children, Sonja White (L. Paul) of Cortland, OH, Linda Porter of Columbiana, OH, Lori Fitzwater (James) of Franklin, TN and Tracey Hummel (Mary Lynn) of Monroe, NC; her husband Ralph W. Hummel; and her siblings, Ward Kephart and Avis Kraus. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family has requested that donations be made to the Trustee Fund of the Salem First United Methodist Church 244 S. Broadway Ave., Salem, Ohio 44460 or Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
