He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson F. Gibbons and Margaret Gibbons (Howell); and his siblings, Tom and Carol Jean Gibbons. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gibbons; his children, Rosa Hartman (Gary) and Kevin Gibbons (Alyssa Kirkendall); and his siblings, William, Charles, Gary, Lawrence, Jack, Maryetta Jorney, Patricia Jones, Charlotte Bertolette and Faith Rochelle Weaver. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
