He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McLaughlin and Viola Cusick McLaughlin; and his siblings, Ruth, Arnie, Ron and Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Smith McLaughlin; his children, Kathy Pennell (Jeff) of Columbiana, Bonnie Lewis (Richard) of New Middletown, Jim McLaughlin Jr. (Lori) of Leetonia and Patricia O'Rourke of Bean Station, TN; and his siblings, Leroy, Leonard, Rella and Fred. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home (28 N Main St, Columbiana, OH 44408). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
