He was predeceased by: his wife Berneda "Nan" Fitch; and his parents, Julie Fitch and Andy Fitch. He is survived by: his brother Virgil Fitch; his children, Marlene Ravelli (Sid), Sharlene Harrison (Don), Mike Fitch (Kristopher Brewer) and Arlene Roelen (Jay); his daughter-in-law Sandy Fitch; his friend Kristopher Brewer; his grandchildren, Jeremy Harrison (Maria), Jessica Mauer (Jim), Brandon Harrison (Allison), Ashley Fitch, Jake Roelen, Sarah Klinger (Tony), Chelsea Hoffmann (Adam), Chris Harrison (Bobbie), Kelly Roelen and Cassie Fitch (Luke); and his great grandchildren, Henry, Guy Harrison, Clara, Logan Harrison, Bowen, Cora, Hayes Hoffmann, Marly, Cruz Klinger, Briar, Thatcher Eschenbrenner, Crew Roelen, Grady and Lacey Harrison.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Salem First Presbyterian Church (770 Chemeketa St NE, Salem, OR 97301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family request in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to the Salem First Presbyterian Church and the Salem Community Food Pantry, where Jess served diligently as a volunteer for years.
