She was predeceased by: her parents, George Christian and Ida May; her son Roger Reed Boon; and her sisters, Carolyn Ida Dempsey, Lucile Adella Moody and Elma Moorhead of Georgia.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Ray Boon (Sharon) of Winner, SD, Linda Rae Dodds (Charles) of Hinckley and Patricia Jean Creel (John) of Clayton, NC; her grandchildren, Katie Campbell, Matthew, Steven, Julia and Arianna Dodds; and her great grandchild Kinley Rose.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Burr Funeral Home & Cremation Services (116 South St, Chardon, OH 44024). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
