He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Moats and Eva Moats; and his brothers, Alva Donald, Sr. and Isaac Moats. He is survived by: his wife Norma J. Moats (Amelung); his children, Vicki Sturms (Don), Rick Moats (Carol) and Rodney Moats (Roberta); and his grandchildren, Christina, Briana, Tyler and Travis.
