He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell C. Gibbs and Sara Ellen Gibbs (Pearce); and his sister Nanee Gibbs Bennett. He is survived by: his siblings, Elizabeth Thatcher and Charles Gibbs (Margaret) of Salem; and his friend Margaret "Sis" Winch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
