He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack L. Sr. Schaufele and Gretchen Schaufele (Reed). He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, David Schaufele and Denise Petersen; and his grandchildren, Christi Whishaar, Danielle Vincent, Matthew Whaley and Jen Carley. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
