He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliga Hite and Alma Hite (Spears); and his siblings, Irene Blackburn, Herman and Bill Hite.
He is survived by: his wife Gracy A. Blackburn; his children, Larry Bailey Hite (Debbie Gibson) of Kentucky, Patricia Andres (Steve) of Salem and Sherri Boosz (Tom) of Salem; his siblings, Christine Miller (Jim) of Salem, Lula Mae Cline of Salem, Southie of Pikeville, KY and Cecil Hite (Sue) of Pikeville, KY; his grandchildren, Becky Beall, Jeff Andres, Kristi Hite, Michael and Bailey Boosz; and his great grandchildren, Jaret Andres, Luke Beall, Leighanna Hite, Maddy and Jackson Andres.
