He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Joanne Buchanan; his children, Wendy Babcock (Michael) of Arizona, Krystal Leslie (Robin) of Missouri and John Buchanan of Salem; and his siblings, Robert Boring (Kristy) of Toledo, Harlan Boring (Stacy) of Florida and Karen Parkin of Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
